On September 17, the participants in the annual Executive Council Retreat proposed and discussed bargaining topics for the coming bargaining year. The following is a list of the bargaining topics the Councilors thought we should focus on.
1. Raise to the minimum wage
2. No fees for GTFs, including self-support course fees, class fees, and fees in the summer.
3. Paychecks on time
4. Class size limit
5. Diversity stimulus
6. Accurate lists of GTFs for insurance
7. No limit on the number of jobs a graduate student can apply for at one time
8. Affirmative Action office required to inform GTFs who want to file discrimination and harassment complaints of the GTFF’s grievance procedures
9. Multi-year contracts
10. Increase to the vision benefit
